Shopify address verification for Indian e-commerce

Connect your Shopify store, sync orders and search or filter the order list. From the Shopify Orders workspace, you can start address verification or open the available rescue workflow when an order needs attention.

Address checks can flag details to review. They cannot guarantee delivery or prevent every RTO.

Connect your store. Review the orders.

The workflow follows your order process: connect the store, sync orders, find the order and choose the next action.

Connect your Shopify store

Enter your store’s myshopify.com domain and follow the prompts to connect it.

Sync and find orders

Sync orders, then use the available filters or search by order ID, mobile number, customer or product.

Run the next order action

Choose Start Verification or Open Rescue, depending on what you need to do. Review the results before making a fulfilment decision.

Connecting Shopify does not automatically mean every address is correct or that checkout will be blocked. Available actions depend on your store and SmartLocator setup.

Address details worth a second look

Indian shipping addresses can include abbreviated locality names, landmarks, missing details or PIN-code mismatches. Reviewing these before dispatch can help your team catch issues sooner.

Review address quality

Check results for addresses that appear incomplete or inconsistent.

Support fulfilment decisions

Give the team information to review before deciding whether an order is ready to dispatch.

Choose a workflow

Use the Shopify workflow for store orders, or process supported CSV and Excel files in bulk.

Using Shopify Orders

Follow these steps to find orders and review address details.

  • Open Shopify Orders and connect your store using its myshopify.com domain.
  • Follow the connection prompts, then sync your orders.
  • Filter the list by the available date, fulfilment, order-type or duplicate options. You can also search by order ID, mobile number, customer or product.
  • Export the order list if needed, or choose Start Verification or Open Rescue.
  • Check flagged results and resolve unclear address details before dispatch.

Use address checks as part of order review

Search, filter and export orders from the Shopify Orders workspace, then use the available verification actions to investigate address concerns.

Address quality is only one part of RTO. Customer availability, courier coverage, payment behaviour and delivery attempts also matter. Use verification to support your existing checks, not replace them.
